VENTUREWIRE ANNOUNCES INVESTORS’

Award Recognizes Ten Wireless Start-Ups with
the Most Potential for Success
NEW YORK – April
26, 2004 – Dow Jones & Co. announced the recipients
of its Investors’ Choice awards at its third annual
Wireless Ventures private equity conference held in Redwood
City, California on April 20 and 21. The event was produced
by Dow Jones VentureWire, the premier source of news, networking,
and information about private technology companies, venture
capital firms, and the people that manage and finance them.
The award recognizes start-up technology companies that are
best positioned for long-term success in the wireless and
mobile communications industry.
Over 300 business leaders, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs
and industry analysts attended the conference and judged the
competition. They selected the 10 award winners out of 54
closely held companies that were invited to present their
business plans at the conference.
“The outlook for the wireless industry is getting better
and better and the Investors’ Choice Award winners are
in prime position to take advantage of these opportunities,”

The Wireless Ventures conference examines strategies that
